Ruth was a strong administrator who practically ran Medway Town Hall during her years there. People appreciated her devotion to the Town of Medway and its citizens. We have fond memories of her.

So very sorry to learn of Ruth's passing. She was a wonderful person and friend. Saw her at hockey and at the town hall. Had great conversations. She was truly a great person. Prayer being said for her journey to Heaven. She will be missed.

I met Ruth at Mt. Auburn Hospital where we both had delivered our babies. My son, Steven, was born on December 2, 1966. When Ruth and her family moved to Medway, she looked me up, and we had so many good times together. I used to visit Ruth with my son in Medway, and Ruth used to come to my home. The last time I saw Ruth, she was in a car when I happened to be outside my home. She told me that she had moved, but she never gave me any particulars. I would have like to visit with hear again. She was a lovely lady. May she rest in peace. She and her family are in my prayers.

My heart is broken now that my other mom is gone. Ruth was so special to my whole family. She gave great advice, loved much and gave the best hugs. I will miss her but trust that she is in Gods presence where she truly belongs. I pray that all the Allen family will be comforted by their memories and that she is home with God and you'll see her again. Rest In Peace mom Love you forever. Love Holly (Piacentini) O'Connor

It is so sad for me to hear this news. Although Ruth Ellen and her family were not blood relatives we grew up knowing that we had another Aunt and three more cousins, a relationship that was founded on the friendship of our mothers. I remember all of our holidays together and generally just the closeness that existed between our families. God bless you all and know that my thoughts and prayers are with you.

A better friend no one can have...gone..... and you took part of me with you. Rest my friend and await my joining you someday to play some mad card games and to watch hockey together again. Just like old times. 124 Love and prayers Arlene
