Obituary

Alice Frances (Dickinson) Guerra, 97, longtime resident of Littleton, passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at Leominster Hospital. She was the loving wife of the late William Guerra.

Alice was born in Charlestown, NH in 1923, a daughter of the late David and Faye (Allen) Dickinson. Alice spent her early years growing up in Springfield, VT and later moved to Lynn where she met her husband William. They married during the war in New York and in 1950 they settled in Littleton and raised a family.

Family was the center of Alice's life. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Alice loved to travel. She especially enjoyed visiting her family in California and trips to Hawaii, San Francisco, and Lake Tahoe. At home she loved planting flowers in her garden and was a friend to all of the neighborhood dogs. Alice will be remembered and greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Alice is survived by her children, Frances D'Agostino and her husband Joseph of Lancaster, CA, Richard Guerra and his wife Jo Ann (Flammia) of Abington, Linda Guerra of Woburn, Martin Guerra of Newfoundland PA, David Guerra and his partner Eileen of Woburn, Anne Guerra and her partner Barrie of Leominster and Michael Guerra and his wife Evangeline (Wilson) of Leominster. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren (Joe, Michael, Tony, David, Christopher, Willie, Jeffrey, Elizabeth, Richard and Jillian) and 3 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Alice was predeceased by her four siblings, Franklin Dickinson, Vera Diabo, Barbara Fiore and David Dickinson.

A private family funeral for Alice will take place on Monday, April 13, 2020 at 1:00 PM in the Badger Funeral Home, 347 King Street, Littleton.
